Our mission is to engage people in providing valuable, sustainable and feasible solutions to problems of public concern.

We envision a world where all people are collaborative problem solvers, proactively address issues important to society and develop satisfactory policies to make positive improvements to their lives and their communities.

SMART Development Centre is a nonprofit, non partisan and apolitical organization, that was established in 2003. We have coordinated mainly youth projects ever since.

Our objectives are:

  To write, develop and coordinate social integration projects at an international, regional and local level in partnership with public institutions.

To develop social information centres, partnering with public organizations.

To develop partnership agreements with state agencies and non-governmental organizations.

To organize seminars, courses, round tables and conferences at a local, national, or international level.

To equip and sustain social centres.

To promote modern technologies and ICT in order to raise the level of information at a local, regional and international level.

To promote exchange programs and know-how transfer between young people from different regions.

To partner with other foundations, associations or persons that support projects with impact on the community.

To support environment protection initiatives.

To promote the interests of local communities.

To support and develop sustainable development strategies.

To publish and translate books, reports, studies and guides.
